Working Principle
The working principle of the Online Checkweigher is mainly to convert the mass signal of the measured object into an electrical signal through a sensor. Then, after being amplified by an amplifier, it is sent to an A/D converter to convert the analog quantity into a digital quantity. Finally, it is sent to a microprocessor for processing, and the mass of the measured object is displayed by a display. The following is its specific working process:
1.Material conveyance: The product moves through the conveyor belt and enters the weighing area.
2.Weighing measurement: When the product passes through the weighing sensor, the sensor will measure the weight of the product in real time and convert the weight signal into an electrical signal.
3.Data processing: After the electrical signal is amplified by the amplifier and converted by the A/D converter, it is transmitted to the microprocessor. The microprocessor will compare the measured weight with the preset weight standard to determine whether the product meets the requirements.
4.Result output: According to the comparison result, the system will automatically take corresponding actions. If the product weight is within the allowable range, the product will continue to flow normally on the production line; if the product is overweight or underweight, the system will trigger the rejection device to automatically remove unqualified products to ensure that unqualified products do not flow into the next process.
5.Data recording and transmission: The weighing data can be recorded in real time and transmitted to the management system for subsequent data analysis and management. These data can help enterprises understand the quality status in the production process and find problems and make adjustments in time.
Main Technical Parameters
1.Weighing range and weighing capacity: Different models of online checkweighers have different weighing ranges and weighing capacities, generally ranging from several tens of grams to several tens of kilograms. For example, some checkweighers have a weighing range of 100g, and the weighing capacity is 0-100g; while others can reach 50kg, and the weighing capacity is 5g-50kg.
2.Detection accuracy: Detection accuracy is one of the important indicators for measuring the performance of an Online Checkweigher. It is usually between 0.01g and 20g. A high-precision checkweigher can detect tiny differences in product weight more accurately. Generally, checkweighers with a small weighing range have higher accuracy. For example, a checkweigher with a weighing range of 100g can have a detection accuracy of 0.04g.
3.Display accuracy: Display accuracy determines the minimum unit of weight display. Common display accuracies are 0.01g, 0.1g, 1g, etc. The display accuracy should match the detection accuracy to meet the user's need for accurate display of weight data.
4.Sorting speed: Refers to the number of products that the online checkweigher can detect and sort in unit time, generally expressed as the number of detections per minute. Common sorting speeds range from 25 times/minute to 300 times/minute. The sorting speed will be affected by factors such as product weight, size, and conveyor belt speed.
5.Belt width: The belt width needs to be selected according to the size of the detected product. Generally, it is between 100mm and 550mm. A wider belt can adapt to larger-sized products.
6.Product size limitations: Including the length, width, and height of the product. Different models of checkweighers have different requirements for product sizes. For example, a certain model of checkweigher requires that the product length is ≤100mm, the width is ≤100mm, and the height is ≥3mm.
7.Rejection methods: Common rejection methods include air blowing type, push rod type, dial rod type, drop type, etc. Enterprises can choose an appropriate rejection method according to the characteristics of the product and production needs.
8.Operation interface: Most online checkweighers use a color LCD touch screen as the operation interface, which is simple and intuitive in operation and convenient for users to perform operations such as parameter setting and data query.
9.Preset product quantity: Some checkweighers can preset parameters for multiple products. Generally, 100 product data can be preset to facilitate enterprises to quickly switch parameters when producing different products.
10.External interfaces: Common external interfaces include USB interface, RS485, TCP/IP, etc. These interfaces can be used to connect printers, computers, other production equipment, etc., to realize data transmission and collaborative work between devices.
11.Power supply requirements: Online checkweighers generally use 220V, 50Hz AC power supply.
12.External air source: For checkweighers that use the air blowing rejection method, an external air source is required. The air source pressure is generally between 0.6-1MPa, and the air pressure interface is usually 8mm.
